Since the day of the Daylight Saving Time change, your MAWAQITBOX randomly adds an hour ?

This article explains how to correct this bug. You have two solutions :

1- Update your application to the latest version

2- Fix the issue on the Android system

1- Update your application :

The latest version of MAWAQIT which corrects this bug is available to download here.

If you do not know how to update your MAWAQITBOX, please read this article.

Once you have updated your application, you will be able to manually set the time of the application.

  1. Go to the settings of your app. To get to them, you just need to press the left arrow on your remote control.

2. In the settings, choose " Configure the time" towards the bottom of the list

3. Select " Set a custom time"

4. Configure the time and press "ok"

5. Now your time is configured ! As you can see in the photo below, even if the box adds or remove an hour, it won't impact the time of the app.

2. Fix the issue on the Android system

If you do not wish to upgrade your application, you can still fix the issue by following a few steps :

  1. Go to the settings of your box. Press the home button on your remote control and select the icon on the far right. Then go to "Android Settings"

    2. Select "Device Preferences"

    3. Go to "Date and Time" > "Automatic Date and Time" and deactivate the option

4. Then go to "Set time" and remove one hour from the real time

5. Restart your MAWAQITBOX with the remote control.

Upon restarting, the MAWAQITBOX will automatically add an hour. As you removed an hour beforehand, the time will be just right. And even if you restart your MAWAQITBOX again and again , the time won't change !
